At SEED we’ve chosen aluminium, a material that’s not only high-performing and elegant, but also environmentally responsible. Fully recyclable, lightweight, and built to last, it plays a key role in our eco-conscious approach to interior design.

We believe every project can strike a balance between performance, design, and environmental responsibility. That’s why we’ve implemented a concrete and committed CSR strategy, tailored to the realities of the industry.

Aluminium: a naturally responsible material

  • 100% recyclable with no loss of quality.
  • Lightweight, strong, and durable, it reduces the need for maintenance and replacement.
  • Our aluminium offcuts are sorted and recycled locally.
  • Our profiles are designed to minimise waste during production.

Eco-design built into every development

Our Design Office develops aluminium systems that are:

  • Built for long-lasting use: certified for up to 10 years of use (FCBA tests).
  • Designed to support efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes.
  • Customisable to reduce waste and meet the needs of specific projects.

Short and responsible supply chains

  • 93% of our raw materials come from France and Europe
  • 100% of our products are assembled locally or in partnership with an ESAT (disability-inclusive workshop)
  • Our transport partners are carefully selected based on environmental and logistical criteria
  • Optimised delivery with a sensible minimum order quantity to reduce transport-related emissions

An environmentally committed company

Aware of the impact of our industry, we place carbon footprint reduction at the heart of our priorities:

  • Our buildings are eco-designed (RT 2012 certified, energy rating B/A)
  • 100% of our waste is sorted and recycled
  • Our materials are primarily sourced from France and Europe, and come from responsible suppliers
  • Our products are built to last: lifecycle assessed, FCBA certified, and guaranteed for 10 years of use

In 2024 SEED was awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, a recognition of our strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)!

This certification places SEED among the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis this year.
